Public Works
The Public Works Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of city-owned infrastructure facilities and buildings. The Department also provides engineering services for design, review and inspection of private development projects.
This Department consists of the following Divisions:
Engineering This Division provides engineering services to design, construct, and maintain the citys street system, right-of-ways, surface water system, and parks and open space. The Division also reviews and inspects all private developments to ensure compliance with adopted regulations.
Operations The Operations Division maintains city owned parklands, street systems, and the citys storm water drainage system.
